Description A breathtaking pair of antique double-arm mirrored sconces with prisms, salvaged from the historic “Windsor” home—also known as the Castle Above the Clouds—perched atop Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. Built in the 1930s by George and Elizabeth Scholze, the residence reflects the couple’s refined taste and attention to detail. George Scholze, second-generation owner of the prominent Scholze Tannery in Chattanooga, helped earn the city its nickname, “Saddle Capital of the World.” Each sconce features a beautifully aged, mirrored backplate adorned with fabulous sparkling prisms; two smooth sconce arms extend from the bottom of the backplate to support understated bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent antique condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 8-1/4” wide, 16” tall, and have a projection of 5-1/2”.
