A fine 19th century Bristol blue glass water jug, the slightly flared top over an inverted baluster body, with an applied scrolling handle and with a trailing band at the top of the body, on a spreading foot. English, circa 1870. Condition: Perfect, the jug has no chips or cracks, the handle is sound and the body is free from any visible scratches. Overall the piece has a delightful appearance and a wonderful rich dark blue colour. Height = 24.5 cm (10”) Capacity ≈ 1.1 litres (2 pints)
