Dore’ Bronze Mounted Signed Maison Jansen Leather Blue-Green Bureau Plat Desk

This is an extraordinary desk by Maurice Hirch, a famous French designer made for Maison Jansen of Paris. The desk is solid mahogany that was stained a beautiful blue-green hue. The top is a gold tooled embossed leather top with a beautiful centralized embossed medallion. The desk is fitted with superbly cast bronze and brass ormolu in a gold Dore’ finish. The desk is in good condition and will show marks and wear to the white leather top. This must be accepted or can be professionally restored if necessary, by a leather professional.
