A pair of mid Victorian walnut footstools in the French style, the circular Louis XV style stools with stuffover covers upholstered in a teal damask with brocaded edge and with wavy sides, raised on scrolling feet. English, circa 1870. Condition: Overall very good, both stools are in good condition and are solid and robust, they have been recently reupholstered using a pleasing bold damask material and with strong webbing beneath.
