An elegant Régence stool in walnut, the stuffover seat on four slender turned inverted baluster supports with bun feet and united by a turned H stretcher, upholstered in a rose velvet fabric with a gold tasselled border. French, circa 1720. Condition: Overall very good, the stool is in good condition and is solid and robust. The upholstery is relatively recent and is in perfectly good condition, and overall the piece has a lovely pleasing colour and patina.
