Description A marvelous pair of antique cast iron Spanish Revival sconces by Markel Electric, dating from the early 1900’s and found in a home in Springfield, IL. Each sconce features a decorative backplate with original polychrome detailing, and a playful fleur-de-lis motif. Two arms reach out from either side of the sconce body to support coordinating bobeches. The sconces are in excellent antique condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctional antique turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we would gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. The sconces are 10” wide, 10-3/4” tall, and project 4-1/2” from the wall.
