An early 20th Italian alabaster table lamp of large proportions, the bulbholder fitted to a moulded top with carved foliate decoration over a reeded capstan over a large fluted urn with a ropetwist and carved leaves below, over a slender capstan raised on a lightly fluted base with ropetwist top, on a square foot. Italian, circa 1920. Condition: Excellent, the lamp is in very good condition with no damage or chips, the carving is crisp and finely executed, the lamp has been rewired with a new bulbholder, braided flex and a new plug fitted with a 3amp fuse. Height = 57 cm (22.5”)
