Description The WDU is a web server unit that distributes custom rich graphics to any HTML5-supported device. The WDU device enables the EmpirBus system to be controlled and monitored from a user interface fully optimized for its purposes and supported by a Garmin display. HTML5 pages and applications can be graphically configured without limitations and operate seamlessly with EmpirBus software. The WDU device operates via an NMEA 2000® network, working with Ethernet speeds (GMN circular connector) for HTML5 distribution. It also offers optional connectivity for wireless connection via Wi-Fi® technology. This adds the ability to use compatible smartphones and tablets as EmpirBus system control devices.
