Description An EmpirBus™ digital switching system consists of one or more DCM units. The DCM supports multiple circuits, which are customized to meet the requirements of the equipment you wish to control. Each DCM connects to the existing NMEA 2000® network, allowing it to communicate with other DCMs and Garmin® displays via a single display on the Garmin® Marine Network. With multiple input capabilities, the Garmin® NXT™ DCM device is highly flexible and cost-effective, providing complete vessel control. It has a small footprint and is easy to install. All output channels are electronically protected and feature low current protection as well as soft stop/start. The channels are capable of electronic dimming and managing complex loads such as LED lighting and windshield wipers.
